Unwind infusion

Want to relax but it’s a bit too early to sleep? This infusion of linden flower and elderflower can help you shed the day’s stress. Note: sometimes linden flower is called ‘lime flower’ and may be used to calm an upset stomach.

Ingredients:

  • 1 part dried linden flower

  • 1 part dried elderflower

  • Freshly grated nutmeg, to taste

  • Honey, to taste

Mix linden flower and elderflower in a small bowl. Use one heaping teaspoon of this mixture to one cup of hot water.

Add to boiling water and stir. Cover and remove from heat. Allow to steep for 10 minutes, then strain.

Stir a small dusting of freshly grated nutmeg and a small amount of honey into the infusion. Serve.
